Botanical Gardens and Opera House

After exploring some of Bondi, we went to the city! It took about 40min from the bus but finally we got there and saw these amazing gardens. The park is right in the middle of the city and has such beautiful flowers trees, and birds. They also had a ton of huge bats that were everywhere and at dusk they were flying around the garden! the path in the garden leads to the water where we saw the city skyline, bridge, and opera house. Such an amazing view especially in the evening. The sky was so many different colors that the city looked so beautiful. WE took a lot of pictures and are going to try and post them. Love you all , wish you were here

Arrival!

So we are alive and well in Bondi beach, Sydney australia at our friend Dan Morales'. We left Mandys mon at 4pm and got to Dans 11 am Wednsday. We went from seattle to San Fransisco, had to job to catch our flight (I forgot my hat on the first flight), then hopped the 13.5 hour flight to Sydney. I wont go into details but it was long, i broke my headphones, and no one got a blood clot.
Once we got in to Sydney, it was bad lines but not horrible in the airport, we exchanged some money and figured out how to take the subway and bus to Dans. We met up with Dan and Anthony at their apt and they took us on a quick tour of the beach. Bondi beach is a series of short beaches, with very white sand lots of nice properties surrounding. We got lucky the dates we are here becuase theres some sort of scultpure fair of some sort and there are tons of great scultures along a beach cliff walk. The scenery is amazing! We just showered up and are getting ready to go to downtown Sydney (Bondi is 20 min bus ride away) for some site seeing and go enjoy some nite life. Hope you are all doing well and we will update you soon!
